Jazz, Swing, New Orleans R & B
Currently living in New Orleans, Monty can be heard five nights a week at the lovely Bombay Club in the French Quarter. He also appears regularly in New Orleans’ Frenchmen Street Music District, at the Three Muses, and the Spotted Cat.
In the summer times Monty returns to his native Seattle, where he can be with family and friends, and participate in the summer music scene in the great northwest.
From the roots of Rock ‘N Roll, to the swingin’ good times of the Rat Pack Era, Monty’s adventures in music have taken him from New York City, to his native Seattle, to Las Vegas, to cuise ships, Indian Casinos, and now the city where jazz was born. “I love mixing the swingin’ sensibilities of Frank Sinatra with the Creole boogie of Fats Domino,” he says. “That’s the right recipe for my kind of good times music!”
